Car Donations

If you have an old car you are looking to replace, consider making a charitable donations to the Greece Education Foundation (GEF).  Donating a vehicle to a non-profit organization is becoming a very popular way to receive a tax deduction while assisting a charity.

With proceeds from the sale of the vehicle, the Foundation can enrich educational opportunities for students and staff in the Greece Central School District.  Through grants to teachers and schools, the GEF funds programs, equipment, and special projects that otherwise might not have been financed by the District’s annual budget.

To donate a car, simply call the Foundation at 234.8693.  Someone will either pick up the vehicle and title, or arrange for you to drop it off at your convenience.  You will receive a receipt for the vehicle showing you donated it to the GEF, and are then eligible to receive the full retail value as a tax donation.
